To prepare you for the upcoming Paint Webster,
come to a free plein air demonstration and workshop.
Featuring award-winning watercolorist, Marilynne Bradley!
Demo: 10am-11pm
Workshop: 1:00- 2:00pm
No registration needed. Just come ready to learn!
Join a warm & welcoming group of painters brushing up on their skills the weekend before Paint Webster. Watch Marilynne paint in the morning, then paint yourself in the afternoon. All level painters are welcome!
Suggested Materials List
Watercolor: Watercolor drawing board or hard surface for backing the paper; watercolor paper; brushes - no. 7 and a 1/2 flat brush, paints - any kind, will have Prang watercolors for sale, $10 a 16 pan set; pencils, masking tape, water container, paper towels
Oils/Acrylics: Lightweight, portable easel; Brushes -At least 3 flats - sizes no. 2, 6 and 10, Small liner brush; Paints - Titanium White; Ultramarine Blue; Cadmium or Bright Red; and Cadmium Yellow; Palette - Painting panels - Any type
Soft Pastels: Lightweight, portable easel; Brushes - One brush (1/4"-1") to erase or blend; Medium/Soft Pastels - for light, medium and dark values; Hard pastels - for dark area, accents and underpainting; Pastel Surfaces - Any type of sanded paper
Additional For All Mediums - Small sketch pad and pencil; Sunscreen and bug spray; Bottled water; Odorless thinner (for oils only); Paper towels; Metal palette knife; Trash bags; Hat; Viewfinder
